VIBE headed to Rock The Bells 10th Anniversary 2-day music festival in San Bernardino, Calif. to check out some of the hottest artists that hip hop had to offer. Dom Kennedy Just Wants To “Get Home Safely” [Video]

Dom Kennedy sits down with VIBE at Rock The Bells 2013 and talks about his new album ‘Get Home Safely.’ With his new album, the Los Angeles native shares that just like his previous LP, 2011’s ‘From the Westside with Love, II,’ he’s focusing on sharing things from his heart and not overthinking things too much. Dom said that his collaborations will consist of LA natives and will focus more on the streets and community of his hometown. “It’s artists on there that you may not know about if you’re from outside of LA,” Dom tells VIBE of his new project. “But the people that’s in the city and know about the music, they will know who that person is.” ‘Get Home Safely’ drops Oct. 15.
