Read moreKevin Gates let loose a really dope freestyle in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV. He admitted at the end of the clip that this isn’t the first time that he spit this verse, but that doesn’t matter because the topics he rapped about mean a lot to him. The bucket hat-wearing rapper (or in the instance above, towel-wearing) is still in the very early stages of his next LP, and says he’s not sure about the direction. “I dunno yet. I just started yesterday, so I really don’t know. I mean I know what I wanna do, but things change. I knew what I wanted to do with Oxymoron in 2012 but I didn’t drop it til 2014.” He continued, “It’s another journey I’m about to take to finish another album, no telling when I’ll finish it, but my plans is for it to drop it next year. I’m not promoting it right now, I’m still on my Oxymoron wave, but I’m definitely working on my second album.” As for his studio needs, they’re pretty simple: “People to shut
