Scotty ATL – Finally Almost Famous (DJBooth Freestyle Series) [Video]

Oft imitated but never equaled, the DJBooth Freestyle Series ran from February 2009 through June 2011. Its 250 total entries were the work of a veritable who’s-who of underground and emerging emcees, including rising stars like Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Now, it’s back for a second round. The 31st entry in the relaunched series comes courtesy of Scotty ATL, the Southern buzzmaker who recently won Booth acclaim for Nun but a Party. On Finally Almost Famous, the unsigned emcee flexes his lyrical muscles over original production by KE On The Track, recorded at Green Room Studios. Fred Lozano provides original artwork to accompany the freestyle. If this freestyle’s piqued your interest, be sure to cop Scotty’s latest album, Spaghetti Junction, when it drops later this month.
