Luckily, I had my GoPro with me for most of it because I decided to make a music video to document this journey. I’m now 24 years old at the beginning of my career and I’m thankful for everyone who has helped me get to where I am today. I still have a long way to go but I’m often told that these are the moments to cherish. So let’s cherish this shit. This is a song for anyone who isn’t looking for me now.” – Khary

Read more“I made this song a few months ago after Ozhora Miyagi had sent me a bunch of beats,” Khary tells OKP. “This one stuck out to me because I really couldn’t picture myself rapping on it. It sounds like if the music for (Nintendo 64’s) Donkey Kong 64 had been turned in trap soundtrack (hence the name). The song was half written and half a freestyle; I just had fun with it. I sent Akeem Team, who’s been killing it, some artwork ideas and here we are with me fishing, Pepe the Frog, and a Magicarp.” – Khary Durgans
