Usher’s latest single “I Don’t Mind” was in desperate need of a more club-friendly re-work…so i flipped it with a sample of MELBA MOORE’s 1982 Disco classic “LOVES COMIN’ AT YA” to give it that phonk!! Yeah, i said it, “PHONK”!!! And because of the strip club theme, i also laced it with some additional acapella ad-libs of two of the biggest strip club classics ever, LUKE’s “I WANNA ROCK” and KHIA’s “MY NECK, MY BACK” for extra hype effect!
